Okay, so. The upcoming "Orange Dave Normalcy Shindig" is a good chance for Marjorie and Nepeta to work together for a common goal. It is going to be a smashing success, because I say so, and also because everything our homestuck cast touches turns to gold-plated magical unicorns with wings, as you must clearly already realize, because you are one of them and thus contribute to the gold-plating of magical, winged equines.
I have had, in my head, and in conversation with such worthies as Nie, the idea of having Marjorie organize and host a in-character singularity singles auction, with the proceeds going to charity. The charity in question would be a monetary donation to every newcomer who pops out of the junkyard, regardless of who, so that they can have a decent living space and food, even if they are a robot who doesn't have blood, or someone sane enough not to arrive in a strange space station and decide to donate blood samples to the robot overlords.
Marjorie alone cannot do this.
However, at the normalcy party, if she and Nepeta were to commiserate over how awesome of a party-throwing team they are, and perhaps over how much it stinks to be a new person and not have the credits for diddly squat... (the commiserating over the diddly-squatness could also be done by one or more other non-Nepeta characters, of course)
I think "singles auction" as a solution would obviously be an idea that would come up between the combined forces of Nepeta's matchmaking hobbies and Marjorie's ability to turn everything she has her hands on into more fun than it was before.
But I would, of course, need your help because whoa nelly that is a plan we should talk about before I go around just assuming things will fall out according to my own plans.
